The psychosis of liberal America has been taken to a new height as the mayor of Washington, DC has marked several sites, including the Washington Monument, for possible removal.
Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser, who has not lifted a finger to stop the riots in her city, to have a task force determine which monuments in her city are problematic.
The sites are marked to either be removed or to have historical context added to them, like saying the Founders were slave owners, NBC 4 Washington reported.
More than 150 monuments, buildings and parks in D.C. have now been recommended for name changes, contextualization or removal because the historic figure they are named for is either considered a racist or doesn’t reflect the values of D.C. residents.
Over almost two months, D.C. residents got to weigh in and the D.C. Facilities and Commemorative Expressions Working Group (DCFACES) researched. DCFACES released recommendations Tuesday that included the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial.
Others that were expected include Woodrow Wilson High School, the fountain at Chevy Chase Circle and the Albert Pike statue, which was torn down by protesters.
Others include Columbus Fountain, Benjamin Franklin Statue, Andrew Jackson Statue, George Mason Memorial, Newlands Memorial Fountain and Albert Pike Statue.
And some that would be due for name changes include anything named after Alexander Graham Bell, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Francis Scott Key, James Monroe, Zachary Taylor, John Tyler, Woodrow Wilson, Andrew Jackson and Robert Brent.
“The District of Columbia is unique among other jurisdictions, serving as the seat of the federal government and home to 702,000 proud Washingtonians,” the heads of the committee, which included Bowser adviser Beverly Perry said in the group’s official report.
“In this space, monuments, memorials, statues and parks are named after national figures,” the group said.
“Since July 15, we have worked with eight working group members and more than twenty staff members to engage residents, examine policy and conduct research in making the recommendations contained herein.
“Our decision-making prism focused on key disqualifying histories, including participation in slavery, systemic racism, mistreatment of, or actions that suppressed equality for, persons of color, women and LGBTQ communities and violation of the DC Human Right Act,” they said.
“We believe strongly that all District of Columbia owned public spaces, facilities and commemorative works should only honor those individuals who exemplified those values such as equity, opportunity and diversity that DC residents hold dear,” the committee said.
“Commemoration on a District of Columbia asset is a high honor reserved for esteemed persons with a legacy that merits recognition,” it said.
As they are removing statues of American heroes, founders of this nation, they are making heroes of criminals who have been shot by police during the commission of their crimes.
It has become Bizarro World and the Democrat Party are the head clowns.
