House Speaker and Democrat California Rep. Nancy Pelosi has finally admitted to what we have all know all along.
The Democrats do not want former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democrat nominee for president, to debate Donald Trump.
Speaking to the press on Thursday the House Speaker made excuses about “legitimizing” President Trump to lay the groundwork for dodging the debate.
“I myself, just don’t tell anybody I told you this, especially don’t tell Joe Biden, I don’t think that there should be any debates.
“I do not think that the president of the United States has comported himself in the way that has any association with truth,” she said.
“Evidence, data, and facts. I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him, nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States,” she said.
“I think he will also belittle what the debates are supposed to be about. And they’re not supposed to be about skullduggery,” the Speaker said.
Any excuse is a good one when your candidate can barely form two sentences and not sound like a senile old man.
She went on to whine about the 2016 presidential debates where President Trump shredded candidate Hillary Clinton.
“What he did in 2016 was disgraceful, stalking Hillary Clinton like that. … He will probably act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency,” Pelosi said.
“He does that every day, but I think it will also be little what the debates are supposed to be about. I don’t think that he should dignify that conversation with Donald Trump.”
“Why else would he try to undermine the elections in the manner in which he is doing?” the Speaker said.
“So, if Joe Biden asked me what I thought about it, [I’d say] I don’t think that he should dignify that conversation with Donald Trump,” she said.
For his part, former Vice President Biden has already agreed to three debates with President Trump in a letter sent to the Commission on Presidential Debates.
“Joe Biden looks forward to facing Donald Trump in a multi-debate series that the American people have come to expect from their leaders; we hope that President Trump would not break that tradition or make excuses for a refusal to participate,” his Campaign Manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in the letter she penned in June.
But it is not President Trump that is looking for excuses to not participate. It is Pelosi and it is pathetic.
